Although, we still face the winter cold and icy roads, the reality is January is coming to an end. With February being such a short month due to the leap year we will quickly be moving into March, and before you know it the spring and summer seasons will be just around the corner. Summer sports leagues and fun outdoor activities are quickly approaching! We encourage you all to enjoy your spring and summer activities, but don’t forget that one of the most important pieces of equipment you can wear this season is a mouthguard. Well-fitted mouthguards can make all the difference.

For the first time this year, Kids Dental hosted a mouthguard clinic. We reached out to all area-athletes and offered FREE custom mouthguards to ensure our community was protected while playing the sports they love. The clinic ran for 2 days in January and we had a great turnout, we met lots of new families and shared some laughs. At the end of it all, our staff could rest assured knowing we had done our part to protect the children of our community while they engaged in sporting fun.

Moving into the spring and summer seasons, Dr. Lee and Dr. Antoniazzi are looking into running yet another FREE mouthguard clinic due to the overwhelming success of our first clinic and give everyone the chance to take part and meet our friendly staff, for those who may have missed out the first time.
