When Should My Child
See An Orthodontist?

The Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends children have their first orthodontic evaluation around age 7.

This does not always mean braces are needed right away.

Early evaluations simply help identify potential concerns before they become more complex, or more expensive to treat.

Yes, we accept all ages!

Kids Dental Group has been amazing with our kids for their orthodontic needs. They’re kind, caring, and flexible. They’re prompt with appointments and accommodating for adjustments. They thoroughly explain everything to you and give you options for care. The facilities are super clean, broth and very kid friendly. We can’t recommend them enough!

Kids Dental is the best! Yesterday was the first time at the Stouffville location (we usually go in Markham or Richmond Hill). Each of the offices have wonderful, supportive, friendly, knowledgeable, and all around authentic staff! All the offices are so well organized and since my 2 daughters have had their braces, we have never had to wait for our appointment. I am so happy that we chose to go with Kids Dental.

Dr Parker and now Dr A. are both highly skilled yet caring and personable, creating a warm and welcoming environment along with their staff. Thank you to Jane for the great care she provided to me and my daughter and to Cindi and Noreen for their friendly and upbeat attitudes. All of you have put a smile on my face.

My son has been here for 5+ years and the people have been ever so helping and supportive in his journey to fixing his teeth. They are very professional, kind, and respectful and help in every way they can. Dr. A is a really cool guy! My son’s braces are coming off soon and I am so grateful to the team and their work! Thanks so much for everything!
